Adjusting grid size of ultrasound b-mode linear transducer example

Hi,

I have been trying to change the grid size in the x-direction in the "example_us_bmode_linear_transducer" from x = 40e-3 to x = 100e-3. However, when I run the simulation both my b-mode and harmonic images are black. Are there any other parameters I need to change in order for larger grid size values to work?

Any help is appreciated! :)

Hi ag9217,

You will also need to increase the number of grid points in the x-dimension by the same factor. Otherwise, the calculated grid spacing dx will be too large to support the frequency of the source.
