Hello !!!
Am new to K-Wave, all i want to know is it possible to simulate a source transmitting(RF signal) from under water and see the propagation properties (like range, signal strength, losses)....
thanks in advance !!!

Hi paramesh,
You mention 'Bluetooth'; do you want to model electromagnetic (EM) waves? k-Wave has been designed to model acoustic waves in fluids, so it essentially solves a scalar wave equation. If you have a simplified model the vector EM wave equation that is in fact a scalar wave equation, it would be possible to model it using k-Wave. (I would think you would have to pay some attention to the absorption, as it could be quite strong and therefore important for accurate modelling of the signal.)
Of course, you can model underwater sound at RF frequencies using k-Wave.

Hello bencox !!
Thank you for reply and suggestion, i got your point. I will try the way you said and will come back with future doubts if any ..
thank you !!
