I am trying to test, if we can use K-Wave to simulate an ultrasound standing wave field in air. But I have problems to identify the parameter BonA.
I am familiar with the virial equation, but as far as I can understand the equation 2.7 from the manual, a Taylor polynomial of the second order is used, which is build around the ambient pressure. Can someone help me where I can find an information regarding the BonA parameter in air.

I'm not familiar with values of BonA in air unfortunately (we work mostly in biomedical ultrasound). Are you working at pressure values where you expect nonlinearity to be important? If not, I'd suggest just running a linear simulation (don't define BonA).

And to everyone else, I often find posts without an answer. So I want to present my results to anyone else reading this, may it help you.
In the book "Nonlinear Acoustics - Mark f. Hamiltion & David T. Blackstock", wich is menioned in the k-Wave Manuel, is a hole good written chapter about BonA. If you have trouble getting your Hands on this book, the book "Nonlinear Wave Prosses in Acoustics - K. Naugolnykh & L.Ostrovsky" (page 3/4) could help.
In Both books is the Value 0.4 mentioned for diatomic gas or air.
In my case I can not now validate k-wave simulation with BonA=0.4 for air, since i encounterd a other problem.
