hello to everyone,
I would like to have a simulation with an imaging grid made of an ad hoc scenario surrounded by a ring of acoustic source and receivers working with a fixed monochromatic signal, it's possibile to do this type of simulation (scattering data acquired by the receiver) with k-wave tools?

Hi docstep,
Yes it's possible to do this kind of thing using k-Wave. You have freedom in defining the sources/sensors and the medium properties within the simulation.

Hi Bradley,
thanks for the reply, I have another question, there is some examples explaining how to modify heterogeneous medium attenuation properties (in therms of alpha coefficient)?Stefano.

Hi Stefano,
Take a look at the Heterogeneous Propagation Medium Example (you can view this from the MATLAB help browser).
medium.alpha_coeff
can be set as a matrix in the same way.Brad.
