I'm just wondering whether creating laser pulse beam is possible or not.
Actually, to excite the target in photoacoustic, we need to focus the beam on the target.
So, I would like to create the customized beam, like size, pulse power and beam width.
Any answer will be helpful for me! thank you!

k-Wave only models the acoustic part of photoacoustics. If you are interested in modelling the complete problem, you will need to combine this with an optical model (such as toast). However, it is possible within k-Wave to change the size, amplitude, width etc of the resulting acoustic pulse by changing source.p0.
