   Hi there,
   I would like to use "envelopedetction" function to detect envelope of a echo signal that I got from a probe.
   when I use this function, the envelope just follow the RF signal and almost repeat the signal. I tried to change the parameters in the function but I didn't give the correct answer.
   I should detect the envelope to have an image of the in front of the probe, I would be grateful if anyone can help me.

   Do the values of your signal fluctuate about zero? If not, try shifting the values using something like:

   signal = signal - mean(signal(:));

   If you try to extract envelope of PA signal, you may also like the following matlab expression:

   signal=abs(hilbert(signal(:)));
