I was running the US Linear transducer and made the following change:
background_map_mean = 0.05;
However, after this it hangs. It processes 15 scan lines and the loop for the 16th scan line has been running for 8 hours even though it should take 4-5 minutes usually.
What would happen if I lower the number of background scatters. the convergence seems to be very sensitive to this.
