I am simulating photoacoustic (PA) signals generated in a cuvette and would like to identify the frequency response of the computational model. From my understanding, the minimum frequency depends on the size of the computational domain, and the maximum supported frequency is determined by the grid size.
My question is: Is the frequency response in this range linear? Additionally, would the smoothing function affect this in any way?
If the medium properties, such as the speed of sound and density, are fixed, would the frequency response still depend on the acoustic geometry or the amplitude of the initial pressure?
