   I am studying seismology and needed to generate synthetic data for my thesis and data i need it 2D ,Rayleigh waves can i generate synthetic data with K-Wave?

   Hi khabat,

   Yes, you can model elastic waves using the pstdElastic codes in k-Wave.

   Let me know if you are stuck on something specific.

   If you have a layered medium, you could also take a look at the ElasticMatrix toolbox.
