   Hello
   I have been studying the solution of sound velocity gradient recently. I have studied the adjoint program in K-wave, but I still have no clue about how to solve the sound speed gradient, so I would like to ask you for advice and hope to get your advice.

   Hi houxc,

   The adjoint example is k-Wave is to obtain the functional gradient for use in a model-based inversion to recover the initial pressure distribution in photoacoustics. Do you want to do ultrasound tomography? Have a look here:
   High resolution 3D ultrasonic breast imaging by time-domain full waveform inversion where the gradient computations for sound speed are described.
