I just started doing photoacoustic simulations of red blood cells. The pulse laser of 10ns pulse width is used in the experiment, so when I do the simulation with k-wave, should I use the initial pressure as the source, and then convolution the photoacoustic signal with the Gaussian signal, or directly use the time-varying source of the Gaussian signal? If i use Gaussian time-varying source , is the pulse width of the Gaussian signal the same as that of the laser?
