   Hi
   I'm trying to focus the beam in the elevation direction. But I am not sure it's possible to do it by "elevation_focus_distance". Actually I'm trying to move the focal region in elevation direction in my code. Can i do it in k-wave?

   Hi maryam,

   Yes, you can change the elevation focus distance by using the elevation_focus_distance input. This allows you to set a single fixed focus distance over the transducer. If you want to use more complicated focusing regimes, you can define source.u_mask and source.ux (or source.p_mask and source.p) and define the input signals for each grid point in the source with the appropriate delays.
