   Hi,

   I am trying to import a specific geometry into my kgrid to use as a propagation medium. I will then want to assign the parameters such as sound_speed, density, alpha_power, alpha_coeff, and BonA to the geometry.

   How would I be able to do this?

   I have seen in previous posts that the function hounsfield2density can be used. However I don't think this will work for me as I am not using a CT scan (DICOM file), I am trying to import an stl file.

   Hi Fahim,

   You will need to voxelise the mesh somehow. See for example here (note, I have never used this function).
