Dear Cox and Treeby,

First of all, thank you very much for providing such a handy tool box.

I am a beginner in the field of photoacoustic imaging, and I am trying to implement the model in the literature（ http://www.k-wave.org/papers/2005-Cox-JASA.pdf ）, but I haven't found the relevant model in the k-wave tool box. Do you have the model of this article in the tool box, or which model in the tool kit is more similar to this one. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Reborn,

Which model are you after? The "Model 1" is implemented in kspaceSecondOrder. Note, not including absorption, this code agrees to machine precision with the kspaceFirstOrderXX, and the first-order codes are much more flexible (including the ability to include heterogeneities and a perfectly matched layer, for example).

Your reply will be of great help to me. I also want to ask how to set the initial pressure distribution and sensor position for Model 1 in the article. I didn't find any description in the article.
