   k-Wave V1.1 and earlier do not work with MATLAB 2016b. Something has changed in the MATLAB error checking in this release, and the use of nargin and nargout is no longer allowed in subscripts. We'll make sure to fix this in the next release of k-Wave. In the meantime, please use a slightly older version of MATLAB if you have access to one.

   Hi Bradley, thanks for putting the continuous effort in the k-wave platform over the last years! Can you provide any information on a possible release for a resolved 2016b version? thank you, best, Christoph.

   Hi Christoph,

   We are working towards a release mid-year, with lots of new features. In the meantime, you could try the suggestion here to get it working with 2016b.
