I am simulating a 2d transducer via defining source and sensor for plane-wave imaging. I would like to match the input pulse shape to a real pulse shape.
Is there a systematic way to solve this problem?
up until now I was using an empirical solution by looking at the reflections from point targets and tried to match simulated and measured data or using the shape of crosstalk signals (few first sample of the signals) which to some extend reflects the input pulse shape.
