The pressure recorded at the sensor is the acoustic pressure, in units of Pascals. You can examine the frequency content of your recorded signals using the spect function. If you are performing photoacoustic simulations (i.e., using source.p0
), the frequency content will depend on the size and smoothness of the initial pressure distribution. If you are performing acoustic or ultrasound simulations (i.e., using source.p
or source.ux
, etc), the frequency content will depend on the frequency content of your source, in addition to the strength of any nonlinear effects.
