I want to simulate the Field Pattern in a layered medium. In my model the curved transducer is positioned in air, while I am trying to set the focal point in the water. I find the example_ewp_layered_medium.m and example_tvsp_transducer_field_patterns.m maybe helpful, but how can I define the velocity, density and attenuation coefficent of both the layers simultaneously？
Meanwhile, I have no ideal how to consider the reflection effect between the two layers.
In my opinion, the field pattern has no relationship with attenuation, so I can assume the two layers have the same attenuation coefficient, please let me know if this is possible?
