but I do not want to add gaussian noise this way!
I want to add the normal noise of ultrasound transducer(speckle) with simulation of sonography.
is there any features helping me out?

Hi Farhad,
The basic idea is to set a heterogeneous distribution of sound_speed, density etc... for your medium.
medium.sound_speed = yourSoundSpeedMatrix
medium.density = yourDensityMatrix
It works pretty well to get something that looks roughly realistic.
