Hi,
i have to simulate the ultrasound field at a fluid - solid interface. The solid may have a complex geometry and different materials. Is k-wave the right toolbox for this?

Hi lmascelli,
It depends a bit on the size of the components in your geometry and the impedance contrast. If you have very small layers and large contrasts, then using a FEM-type model which can use an unstructured mesh would be a better way to go.
