Hi,
I am working on a comparison of compressional and elastic photoacoustic simulations using kspaceFirstOrder3D and pstdElastic3D. Between the two simulations, I want the power absorption for the compressional waves to be the same. When using kspaceFirstOrder3D, I can set both medium.alpha_coeff and medium.alpha_power. However, when using pstdElastic3D, I can only set medium.alpha_coeff, and medium.alpha_power is an invalid field. Why is this? Is there any way to set alpha_power for the elastic simulations? What is it’s default value? If I cannot change it, how can I make quantitative comparisons of the two simulations when the power absorption is different for the two mediums?
