Hello,
If I want to simulate the viscoelastic medium, I just need to define α0 ≡ medium.alpha_coeff and y ≡ medium.alpha_power which ranges from 0 to 3. Is there any specific things I should do?
Thanks

For viscoelastic simulations using pstdElastic2D
/ pstdElastic3D
it is not possible to set the power law. The Kelvin-Voigt model is used to model the loss, which gives an power law dependence of 2 for small attenuation.
Dr. Treeby,
Thanks for explaining, that means I have to define the alpha_p and alpha_s using the Equation 6 of the following paper, right?
